Come fall in love all over again at Concepts on Highland.
Located in the Historic Eau Gallie Arts District in Melbourne, it’s all about charm! Concepts on Highland occupies the old Eau Gallie Bank Building, and retains its old world ambiance. The building sits on the SouthEast corner of Highland and Eau Gallie Blvd. It has worn many faces over the years, from bank, to coffee house, to pharmacy. Now it’s the favorite obsession of Chef Grant Heaslewood. There is a story about the building, too. The bank opened for business in 1883. One day in 1896, the cashier was seen boarding a northbound train with two large suitcases. In the morning, the bank directors opened the vault to find it empty. Neither the cashier nor the money was ever seen again!


At Concepts on Highland, you will find Euro Fusion Cuisine at its best. Every dish is meticulously prepared to the finest detail. Your tastebuds will love you for it! There is an extensive and complete wine list that will please even the most sophisticated wine lover. Have a private dinner in the old bank vault – a separate room just for you and your guests. There are a wide variety of tempting creations, available for lunch or dinner. As an example, start with a Baby Spinach with Goat Cheese Salad, served with warm, crusty bread. A nice Shiraz would compliment that. Main course might be the Fillet Mignon served Au Poivre, happily accompanied by Roasted Potatoes and Sautéed Vegetables. Make room for the dessert, perhaps an Orange Scented Crème Brulee or some Warm Chocolate Lava Cake. Perhaps when you finish your dining experience, a stroll through the Eau Gallie Arts District might be in order. The area is rich in history.
